Objective: To achieve 100% household electrification both in Urban and Rural.

PresentStatus:
1. Beneficiarieselectrified under Sonitpur District (undivided). – 74,750 nos.

2. Beneficiarieselectrified with Solar Standalone System in Sonitpur District (undivided) – 1,211 nos.

DDUGJY(Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana)

Objective:
1. To provide electrification to all villages.
2. Improvement of Sub-transmission and distribution network to improve the quality and reliability of the supply.
3. Metering to reduce the losses.

Present Status:

1. 1. Beneficiaries electrified under Sonitpur District (undivided).- 24,461 Nos
   2.Sub-transmission and distribution network improvement work going on.
   3. Metering at all levels (input points, feeders and distribution transformers etc.) going on.

IPDS(Integrated Power Development Scheme)

Objective:
1.Strengthening of sub-transmission and distribution network in the urban areas.
2. Metering of distribution transformers/feeders/consumers in the urban areas.
3. IT enablement of distribution sector and strengthening of distribution network.
